Our Program and Fees
Choose the class that works best
Dunluce Preschool is pleased to offer three different classes throughout the school year. Classes run from mid-September through to the end of the 1st week in June.
3 Year Olds
4 Year Olds
4 Year Olds
Dunluce Preschool is a cooperative preschool, which means that the parents are actively involved in many daily and yearly aspects of the program. This allows us to keep fees below that of private preschools.
Parents are expected to:
- Act as Duty Parent in the classroom (1 to 2 days every month, depending on enrollment numbers)
- Participate in one general meeting per year
- Clean & Set Up Night (1-2 times per year)
- Set Up Night (2-3 times per year)
- Work one bingo for Dunluce Community League
Other volunteer opportunities may arise throughout the year, and may include things such as sewing jobs, preparation of craft kits, maintenance of furniture and equipment, supplying snacks for our parties, etc.
The staff has put together a fun filled, educational program for the children but many hands are needed to initiate it. With the staff and parental involvement, the children will experience many new and exciting activities and adventures. We could not normally plan these things without the extra help. Play school provides an environment for children to socialize, become independent, practice communication skills, learn about the world around them, and grow as individuals. Together we make this a positive learning experience for children, parents and staff!
Private Facebook Group
If you a child in the preschool you are welcome to join our Facebook group to share photo’s, video’s and information with other parents who have children in the preschool.
Dunluce Preschool is run by a volunteer Executive Board, consisting of the following positions:
Field Trip & Fundraiser Director
Website & Publicity Director
These positions will be filled at our Spring Open House/Annual General Meeting. Parents who commit to a position on our Executive Board do not have to work a bingo for the Dunluce Community League. We absolutely rely on parental involvement to ensure the preschool’s success. Please consider helping us out!
